Shad Thames

 

Located on the south side of the river Thames, Plateaux  Gallery is situated at the foot of Tower Bridge, one of the world's most famous and photographed landmarks with the financial powerhouse of the City of London about a kilometre away. The gallery occupies a dramatic, light-filled space consisting of 1,750 square feet located in a pleasant and tranquil square at Tower Bridge Piazza. Another attraction is the Design Museum which is only 3 minutes walk from the gallery. 

For local entertaining, there are several cafés and restaurants overlooking the Thames river, among which is Sir Terence Conran's highly rated 'Le Pont de la Tour' restaurant, which is opposite Tower Bridge Piazza.
